Alta Precision is equipped with a very powerful CAD/CAM system from Unigraphics, the system is a full parametric solid modeller. Alta can import various file formats including IGES, DXF, STL. Step is presently being evaluated for possible future use. Complex five (5) axis parts are regularly programmed by our skilled personnel. All of the CNC machines are connected to the CAD/CAM system thru a DNC network, to allow electronic NC program file management.
