Alta Precision's quality system complies and is registered to the following standards: AQAP-4, MIL-1-45208, ASQC Q92 and ISO-9002. Alta’s inspection center is equipped with a fully programmable Co-ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) capable of measuring large parts. The CMM is networked to the CAD/CAM system, to allow direct comparison of inspection results with the original part model data. Conversely, existing parts can be scanned by the CMM, and the data loaded to the CAD/CAM to create the part model. A full complement of standard gages is available to cover all types of applications. Statistical Process Control is applied to critical features, on all major components manufactured by Alta Precision.
